A TEDxWeekend is an international gathering of TEDx organizers  focused on celebrating our community, and fostering deep connection and collaboration between community members. 

After last year’s incredible TEDxWeekends in São Paulo, Singapore and Munich, TED has now chosen Verona as the place for the 2023 edition.

48 action-packed hours, from Friday evening to Sunday, with city tours and adventures, workshops, and fun social hangouts.

The weekend is open to the entire TEDx community, including licensees, co-organizers, and team members.

Talks
Get inspired by some great talks. The TED team, TEDx organisers, and other special guests will take the stage to share ideas, projects and experiences.

Workshops
Get your hands dirty during the workshops and breakout sessions. This is your opportunity to explore new interests while interacting and learning from TEDxers.

Experiences
Explore the Italian city of love and learn about its culture with some fun team activities and excursions throughout the city.

Powerful connections
Meet fellow TEDxers from all over the world, share knowledge and experiences and make new friends.  Get ready to get to know thinkers, builders, fighters, and optimists.

The ticket you can purchase below is for attending both Saturday and Sunday.

The ticket is offered at a starting price of 95€ with the option for attendees to contribute with higher amount if they wish to do so to support the event. 

This can be easily done by entering the desired amount in the ticket value field.
It is possible to purchase one ticket at a time. If you want to buy more tickets, please make multiple purchases.

• TEDxWeekendVerona Tickets are non-refundable. However, if you are unable to attend the event, you have the option to transfer your ticket to someone else within 10 days prior to the event date directly through the ticketing platform.
• TEDxWeekendVerona does not automatically qualify participants for the TEDx 100+ license
• Through the purchase of a ticket you consent to appear in photos and/or video material recorded during the event. These photos and/or videos will then be shared on various on- and offline channels.
  
• Through the purchase of a ticket, you consent to our Code of Conduct.
• By filling out a ticket order, you provide us with data which we will treat confidentially at any given time and will not pass on to third parties outside of TED and TEDxVerona.

A TEDxWeekend is a weekend-long international gathering of TEDx organizers, including team members. It consists of 48 action-packed hours, from Friday evening to Sunday, with city tours and adventures, workshops, and fun social hangouts.

These weekends are designed to help organizers connect with each other, celebrate the TED spirit and mission, and fall in love with the place in which they are held. This is also an opportunity to meet some of the TED team in person. 

We ask each TEDx team to limit their participation to 4 people. This will allow us to have a higher representation of TEDx from around the world. 

You are welcome if you are part of the organizing team of a TEDx event anywhere in the world. We welcome newcomers and long-term organizers alike.

You are welcome if you are no longer actively involved in organizing a TEDx event, but are passionate about sharing your wisdom to help other organizers.

Plan to arrive on November 3rd and to leave in the late afternoon/evening of November 5th (see schedule below). You will need to arrange your own travel and accommodation.

Main location with be Gran Guardia Palace in the main square, next to the Arena of Verona.

The main venue for the two-day event will be the Gran Guardia Palace of Verona, located in the city center right in front of the Arena of Verona. In addition, a series of activities will be organized on Saturday afternoon in various locations across the city.

The dinner and party scheduled for the Saturday will be held at the magnificent Palazzo Giusti, located just in front of the world-renowned Giardino Giusti. This stunning location promises to provide an unforgettable experience, with its grand architecture and picturesque surroundings.

We recommend arriving on Friday before dinner, leaving on Sunday night.

We would love to have all of you as close as possible to the Palazzo Gran Guardia, in order to give you the best possible networking opportunity.

Thanks to its location in the centre of Northern Italy, at the crossroads of important motorways and railway networks, Verona is easily accessible from the main Italian and European cities by various means of transportation: car, bus, train, plane.

BY TRAIN

Verona is located at the intersection of the Milan - Venice (east-west) and Bologna - Brenner (north-south) railways, with frequent trains departing every hour.

The main train station is VERONA PORTA NUOVA.
From here, you can quickly and easily reach city center by foot or bus.

BY PLANE

The airport of Verona is the VERONA VALERIO CATULLO.
It is about 12 kilometers from the city center.

Another close by airport is BERGAMO ORIO AL SERIO.
It is about 110 kilometers from Verona and is connected to the city by several buses.
